Luke - Much

Luke 12:48, "Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more."

I may not be rich by American standards, but I am very rich when compared to the rest of the world. I may not be wealthy by worldly standards, but I am very wealthy by God's standards.

I look at my life. I have been blessed. But God has not blessed me for my sake. Oh, no! God has blessed with me with much so that I will give much.

There are times when I am in 'want' but I have never been in 'need'. I have never gone to bed hungry. I have never slept on hard concrete. I have never worn torn clothes. I have never drank dirty water. I have never been in need.

I have been given much. Much is required of me.

Luke 16:10-13, "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."

God has asked me to go into the nations and make His name known. He has entrusted me with much. Much is required of me. He is asking me to love His people. To share His heart with the lonely, the hurting, the broken, the lost. I must be faithful with little, so that I can be faithful with much. Jesus has asked me to obey and love Him only. I must choose which master I will serve.

As I pray and ask the Lord for many souls to come into the Kingdom of God in Italy I am reminded... Be faithful with the ONE and He will entrust me with the MANY.

Jesus, you have given me much and I gladly give much. I am loved much therefore I will love much. I am forgiven much so I will forgive much. Grace is poured upon me therefore I will pour out grace. I have YOU therefore I will give YOU!
