Ancient Truths

Today while on facebook I saw a picture posted that had one word on it - Hephzibah

That one word stirred my soul.  It gripped my heart.  It screamed to me, "THIS IS FOR YOU"

I opened my bible to a very familiar passage in Isaiah.  Isaiah 62 is a loved passage for me.  I have read this passage of scripture many, many times.  I have prayed this passage of scripture many, many times... but never over myself.

As I began to read it I felt Holy Spirit speaking these powerful ancient truths over me.  Holy Spirit began to declare the truths of God over my weary heart.

"...and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give. You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called HEPHZIBAH, and your land Beulah; for the LORD DELIGHTS IN YOU, and your land shall be married." Isaiah 62:2-4
“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest, and give him no rest until he establishes Jerusalem and makes it a praise in the earth.” Isaiah 62:6-7
“Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth: Say to the daughters of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes; And they shall be called The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.'” Isaiah 62:11-12
Powerful
Truths
Breathed out
Soaking in
The Lord gives me a new name.  He calls me Hephzibah.  He says His delight is in me.
The Lord sees me as a crown of beauty.
The Lord has positioned watchmen around me. Beloved ones who have prayed for me day and night. People who have not kept silent on my behalf. Ones who will not give God any rest until He fulfills His promises.
The Lord has proclaimed over me that I will be called Holy, Redeemed, Sought out, Not Forsaken!
Amen.
