Day 2 in Albertville

Greetings from Albertville!

My second full day started a bit later than planned due to not being able to sleep until 4:00am.  However, I still felt fairly rested and ready to explore.  I had my "to-do" list and one of the items was to go explore the city a bit with 2 of my school-mates.

I haven't learned how to make coffee yet so there was no morning coffee!  Yes, I know that is a complete and total shock.  But that is going to be the only day because I don't think I can handle that again ;)  I enjoyed breakfast, talking with some of the gals.

After breakfast I was able to get so work done.  Wow, I am so thankful for fast working Internet!  As I worked the sun was filling my room and I could hear children playing, the train whizzing by in the distance, a church bell chiming and birds singing.  The weather is very Spring like here right now and is absolutely gorgeous!  After my work was complete I just had to make lunch and enjoy it on the terrace.  Here is my view during lunch...

Lunch - Bread, Pesto, Lettuce and a clementine

After lunch me and 2 school-mates were off to explore a bit.  Mercy has been here since August so she showed me and Kathryn around.  I have discovered that the best way to explore a city is on foot.  Duh, I know :)

Our walking took us up a mountain to a medieval city with a castle.  Yes, you read that correctly!  We made our way to the medieval city of Conflans which over looks Albertville.  I'll let you judge how beautiful it is...

Day 2 was great!  The people are great and the city is also.  I think I'm going to really like it here :)
