Luke - Power in the body and blood

Luke 24:30-32, "When he was at the table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight. They said to each other, 'Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?'"

I read this an my heart burned with longing, longing to have that kind of experience. I long for the day that I take communion and feel as though scriptures have been opened to me and my heart burns within me for more of Jesus.

It sure would be nice to take a little walk side by side with Jesus and have Him explain everything to me. But that's where faith comes in. The whole believing without seeing thing.

I get it. It's just sometimes I really like the easy way...
